Nikon announced two new camera additions to their line... the D3100 ($699.95) and D7000 ($1199.95).  Both of these cameras look very promising.  The entry level D3100 will have a 14.2 MP CMOS sensor and the D7000 will have a 16.2 MP CMOS sensor.  ISO capabilities will be 100-3200 for the D3100 and 100-6400 for the D7000.  Both cameras will offer 1080p HD video abilites.

Cameras today are offering so much for the money now.  Qualities are improving too.  It's a great time to move into a DSLR if you haven't already done so.  And if you aren't sure how to use your new DSLR, contact me for some private one-on-one lessons!  You can read some nice testimonials about my lessons on my main website at www.russlowe.com.  Just click on the testimonials tab.
