On Friday, Feb 21, 2020, I was able to get 114 Degrees of Flexion on my own and I matched the doctor's knee manipulation under anesthesia amount of 130 degrees when the physical therapist pushed me to major screaming levels!
I am shocked at the 130 degree flexion because I never thought I'd ever be able to get that far. It may be the one and only time I will get this since the pain was so great when he pushed me that far! Remember, the doctor was only able to get it when I was knocked out in the operating room.
Let's hope I am able to get that 114 degree number to at least 120 degrees. This only happens after the therapist has "prepped" me by pushing on my leg several times first. Each of those time are screaming times as well.
I'd say if I were just to try it on my own without any prep work, I probably can do only 90 to 95 degrees.
I still can't walk well though. I walk terribly still.

Where Have I Been?
It's been a long time since my last post here on my blog. Where have I been?
Well, on September 19, 2019, I had a left knee replacement. It hasn't gone well. Recovery has been very long and as of this post, it's been almost 5 months of pain. I've gone through over 70 physical therapy sessions and each one is filled with pain from the PT pushing on my leg to get the knee to bend more.
With all this work, I am currently able to bend my knee as much as 112 degrees on my own and 124 degrees when the PT pushes me to the point of screaming in pain. I need to be able to do it to at least 115 to 120 degrees on my own and have enough leg strength to walk properly on my own.
The leg strength seems to be a big challenge for me. I know I still have a long way to go.
