Tree Trimming Again!

When we first moved into our home about 2.5 years ago, we had hired a tree trimming service to shape our trees and remove old trees and shrubs from the property that the former owners had put up but neglected to maintain.

Now, we found that we needed to reshape the two birch trees as they have grown significantly larger in that short time!  The front tree was rubbing up against the house so that every time the wind blew, we'd hear the scratches along the side of the house.  With Autumn just around the corner, we felt it was best to get the trees trimmed now.  (Less to rake later... an added bonus!)

Cabanas Tree Service did the work this time as I could not get a hold of the other service we had used twice in the past.  Rather than wait it out, I decided to go with this vendor.  They did a decent job.

There's no way to trim trees without generating a lot of branches to get chipped and hauled away!  Look at the mess generated!  Last time when we moved in, we had even more to chip and haul!

The photo below shows what needed to be done when we moved in 2.5 years ago...
